In the mid-1990s, Wolf Barth created his famous 65-nodal septic surface.

I published my first visualizations of this more than 2 decades ago in my PhD thesis on world record surfaces. Later, my visualizations of world record surfaces became known to a wider public.

Here is now my first version with a transparent background – that may be printed on a white t-shirt, hoody, or even a coffee mug.
